- Common equity (market value)
- The common equity market value increased from 2018 to 2019, rising from 47,751 million US dollars to 51,014 million US dollars. However, it experienced a notable decline in 2020 and 2021, reaching its lowest point at 33,768 million US dollars in 2021. In 2022, there was a recovery, with the value increasing to 44,389 million US dollars, though it remained below the 2019 peak.
- Total equity
- Total equity followed a similar trend to common equity, increasing from 48,812 million US dollars in 2018 to 52,334 million US dollars in 2019. It then sharply declined to 43,012 million in 2020 and further to 34,020 million in 2021. This was followed by a significant rebound to 44,164 million US dollars in 2022, nearing the 2020 level but still below the pre-2020 values.
